Your information
Privacy, in plain language.
This statement explains what ChispiWebs collects through this website, why it is needed, and the choices you have.
Who is responsible
ChispiWebs is an independent web studio operated by Nico. Nico is the privacy contact and the person responsible for information submitted through chispiwebs.com. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to info@chispiwebs.com.
What the website collects
If you use the contact form, ChispiWebs collects the details you choose to enter: your name, email address, optional business name, selected service and project message.
The website also uses a one-way hash made from limited connection information, including IP address and browser details, to count recent submissions and reduce spam. The original connection values are not stored in the contact database for this purpose, and the short-lived rate-limit records are routinely removed.
Why it is collected
Your enquiry details are used to respond, understand the work you may need, prepare an appropriate next step, keep a reliable record of the conversation and protect the form from misuse. Providing the form details is voluntary, but ChispiWebs cannot reply if you do not provide a working contact method.
ChispiWebs does not sell contact details and does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies on this website.
Where it goes
Enquiries are stored in a protected Cloudflare D1 database and a notification is sent to Nico through Cloudflare’s email service. Cloudflare provides the website, database and email infrastructure and may process information through its global network. Information may also be disclosed if required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect the website or a person’s safety.
Storage and retention
ChispiWebs uses reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including HTTPS, restricted database access, server-side validation and abuse controls. No internet service can promise absolute security.
Enquiry information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed to answer the enquiry, manage any resulting project, maintain business records and meet legal obligations. It is then deleted or de-identified when it is no longer needed.
Your access and correction rights
You can ask what personal information ChispiWebs holds about you, request a copy, ask for inaccurate information to be corrected, or request deletion where it is no longer needed. Email info@chispiwebs.com with enough detail to identify your enquiry. Identity may need to be confirmed before information is released or changed.
Changes
This statement may be updated if the website, providers or legal requirements change. The updated date above shows when it was last revised.
